An older edition of the archived home page dates from the second half of 2013. It shows how plans and expectations changed.

Mission and timeline

The page described the aim of improving comfort for people with below- and above-knee amputations and presented the Aquilonix system as the first product. At that point the company expected it to reach the US market in early 2014, with initial testing expected to finish by January 2014. Later versions pushed the expected date to 2016.

Press items

Three June 2013 pieces were highlighted: a story on the cooling system, a profile of the startup and a report on the contest win.

Conferences

Early 2014 meetings listed were a Pacific Rim prosthetics event in Hawaii in January and an annual meeting of orthotists and prosthetists in Chicago in late February.
